Dolphins Vs. Texans 2012: Battle Red Blog Happy With Outcome

The Houston Texans kicked off the 2012 NFL season with a win on Sunday, defeating the inept Miami Dolphins, 30-10.

Star running back Arian Foster rushed for only 79 yards on 26 carries, but added two touchdowns on the ground. Matt Schaub was 20-of-31 passing for 266 yards and a touchdown. As expected, Andre Johnson led the Texans in receiving, hauling in eight passes for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Needless to say, the folks over at Battle Red Blog were quite pleased with the outcome.

Dear Andre Johnson, Remember all that stuff I wrote about you last January? I meant every word. You're a golden god, and we're all better human being for having rooted for you.

Not everything was golden, however.

Reggie Bush rushed for almost 5 yards/carry against the Texans. Do not like.

In Houston's defense, Reggie Bush has become a much more complete back in recent years.

We'll see how Houston fares next week, as they head to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.

Be sure to head over to Battle Red Blog for everything Texans, and join the discussion.
