The Texans were impressive in their debut and are a staple in the top five of everyone's power rankings.

Despite a slow start against the Miami Dolphins, the Texans put together an impressive rally late in the second quarter and cruised to a 20-point victory in their opener. The win, although expected, proved what many already believed: the Texans are a good football team. So good, that they're essentially a staple in the top five of everyone's power rankings, including the ones from SB Nation's Joel Thorman:

4. Houston Texans (LW: 6, 1-0): We won't learn much about this team with a 20-point victory against Miami. And we won't learn much next week when they travel to Jacksonville. Week 3 against Denver will help us figure out what type of team this is.

The team is even more highly thought of by CBS Sports' Pete Prisco, who gave them his No. 2 spot, just behind the New England Patriots.

They started slow against Miami, but it got cranked up in the second quarter. That defense was impressive.
