The undefeated Houston Texans are two-score favorites as they host the Tennessee Titans at Reliant Stadium in Houston on Sunday. Last week, the Texans won by six after closing as 1.5-point favorites against the Denver Broncos.
The line opened with the Texans as 10.5-point favorites and has moved up, as seen on both OddsShark and the SB Nation NFL odds page. For one book it has gone up to 13.5, but most other lines are holding the Texans as 12-point favorites.
The over-under point total is set at 45 points, which at first glance goes against the two teams' scoring averages. Houston is averaging almost 30 points per game, while the Titans are averaging 22 thanks to a 44-41 overtime win against the Detroit Lions last week.
A key matchup that will affect the over-under looks to be the Texans' offense against the Titans' defense. Houston sports a top-five rushing offense, while Tennessee's run defense is in the bottom four league-wide.
