Arian Foster Injury: Fantasy Impact Could Be Huge For Texans RB

Houston Texans RB Arian Foster will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, sending fantasy owners into a panic over the possibility of their bell-cow player possibly missing the chance for a big game this weekend.

While an MRI was negative on his knee and Foster said he'd be good to go for the season opener, he was held out of Friday's practice with coach Gary Kubiak saying Foster will be a game-time decision.

Foster went first overall in most fantasy leagues, for good reason, and owners will be scrambling to find the best backup plan in case it is announced Foster can't play at the last minute. With the Texans playing in the early game, the good news is that owners have a bit of leeway to work with in case he's not able to go.

The Texans running back is currently being projected to get around 15 rushes and 60-89 yards and one touchdown by most fantasy sites. There's a chance Foster will be playing with a sore knee if he in the game, which could affect owners who feel they have a better option behind him.

Foster rushed for 1,224 yards and ten touchdowns last season, adding 617 yards receiving and two more touchdowns through the air.
