<p>The sixth-ranked Texas A&M baseball team won its home finale on Tuesday night with a 5-1 win over Texas State.</p>
<p>Daniel Mengden went seven innings in the start, giving up seven hits and one earned run. At the plate, Cole Lankford went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Tyler Naquin went 1-for-2 with two RBIs. The Aggies scored three runs in the third inning, including a two-run single from Naquin. A&M scored one run in the fifth and one in the seventh. Texas State's one run came in the top of the seventh.</p>
<p>The Aggies had 11 hits, while Texas State had nine, but the Bobcats couldn't bring many of those runners home.</p>
<p>Texas A&M finished a seven-game homestand with a 6-1 record. The Aggies will finish the regular season with a three-game series at Oklahoma City this weekend.</p>

<p>The sixth-ranked Texas A&M baseball team will host its final home contest of the regular season Tuesday night when the Aggies take on Texas State in a 6:35 p.m. contest on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.</p> <p>In their home finale this season, the sixth-ranked Texas A&M Aggies host the Texas State Bobcats on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.</p>
<p>The Aggies are getting ready for postseason action and facing the 29-20 Bobcats at this point is just an attempt to better Texas A&M's chances of hosting an NCAA Regional on its home field.</p>
<p>The Aggies have played their last six games at home and have won five of them. Before that, they <a href="http://itemonline.com/sports/x1720498479/BEARKATS-BASEBALL-Just-a-tough-night-against-ninth-ranked-Aggies">defeated Sam Houston State 10-0 in Huntsville</a>.</p>
