BCS Standings Week 8: Texas A&M No. 17, Texas No. 24 In Initial Rankings

The Big 12 lands four teams in the Initial BCS Rankings led by Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Texas A&M cracks the Top-20 at No. 17.

The initial BCS rankings are upon us and the LSU Tigers have landed in the top spot. Alabama is No. 2 and is followed closely by Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. The Boise State Broncos round out the Top-5. Other notables inside the Top-10 are Wisconsin (No.6), Clemson (No.7) and Stanford (No.8). 

In addition to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, the Big 12 conference also lands Texas A&M (No. 17) and Texas (No. 24) in the rankings. Undefeated Houston cracks the rankings at No. 19.
