Texas A&M Vs. Mississippi State Final Score: Bulldogs Hand Aggies First Loss Of Season 69-60

Texas A&M entered Thursday night's game against Mississippi State ranked No. 18 in the country. It won't be long before the Bulldogs find their way into the top 25 poll after State's 69-60 victory over the Aggies in the 2K Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden.

Mississippi State jumped out to a 9-2 lead and never really looked back. A late first half run by the Aggies cut the Bulldogs' lead to 41-32 but they were unable to cut into the lead in the second half.

Mississippi State's Dee Bost led all scorers with 20 points and also had four rebounds, three assists and four steals for the Bulldogs. Brian Bryant chipped in 12 points and Rodney Hood had 10. Interestingly, Renardo Sidney struggled throughout finishing with just three points and six rebounds while going 0-9 from the field.

Elston Turner led the way for the Aggies with 13 poins. David Loubeau logged 11 points and seven rebounds while Jamal Branch chipped in 10 points off the bench.

Aggies coach Billy Kennedy coached in just second game this season after leaving the team during the preseason after being diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinson's disease.
