Running back Cyrus Gray was having a great first half against the Kansas Jayhawks with 94 yards and three touchdowns, but the Texas A&M Aggies running back came out of the locker room in warm ups with an undisclosed injury.
ESPN's Big 12 blogger reported via Twitter on the alleged nature of the injury now by saying, "Sounds like the issue with Cyrus Gray is his left shoulder. No sling or anything on the sidelines."
School officials said that Gray would be evaluated after the game to find out the severity of the injury. Texas A&M did not need Gray to finish off Kansas, but the main concern will be if Gray can suit up on Thanksgiving night when the Aggies take on their rival Texas Longhorns.
Texas A&M already lost running back Christine Michael to the year due to a knee injury, so losing Gray against Texas will be a big blow for this offense.
