It's no surprise that Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino wants to continue playing the Aggies in Dallas each season, even though the two will now play every year as part of the SEC West.
↵Why does he want to continue there? Well, first of all, it's a neutral site, which gives Arkansas a big advantage. He also gets a huge recruiting boost by having that game in Texas each season.
↵There's also the small matter of the rest of the SEC crying foul that the Razorbacks would get a game every season in Texas. I'm sure those other schools can't wait to start recruiting in Texas, but they won't always play in Texas depending on the schedule. That's why they'd want to block this from continuing for Arkansas.
↵The other reason the Hogs want this to continue is that it's hard to find another high profile matchup at this point. They want to keep that game in Texas, but who do they play now? Will TCU take them on consistently? Even though the Frogs are moving to the Big 12, that doesn't mean they are a big enough draw to make that series work.
↵What about Baylor? I'm sure the Bears would love to jump on that game, since it'd raise their profile too. If they can make it work, I'd see that as the biggest possibility once the Aggie game goes away.
