Texas A&M Vs. Arkansas Tech: Game Preview, TV Info And More

The Aggies host their final non-conference game of the season before beginning Big 12 play after the new year.

After consecutive losses to Florida and Rice knocked them out of the Top 25, the Texas A&M men's basketball team will try to regain their footing before Big 12 play starts with a non-conference home game against Arkansas Tech on Thursday night.

Arkansas Tech, a Division II school from Northwest Arkansas, is not expected to provide much of a threat. The Aggies are the only Division I team on the Wonder Boys schedule this season.

For Texas A&M, the game will be an opportunity to get star forward Khris Middleton back on track, as he has struggled since returning from knee surgery that cost him most of the first two months of the season. Against Rice and Florida, he went only 11-32 from the field.

In contrast, senior 6'8 forward David Loubeau has stepped up his game against quality competition, going 15-28 in the Aggies last two games.

Head coach Billy Kennedy will need both players firing on all cylinders to successfully navigate a treacherous round-robin schedule in Big 12 conference play this season.

The 7:00 PM game will be streamed live on the Texas A&M website.
