College Football Poll 2011: Texas A&M Rises In Week 1

The Associated Press released its first poll of the regular season on Tuesday instead of Sunday, since teams were playing Sunday and Monday this week. Oklahoma held onto the top spot but LSU moved up to No. 2 after beating Oregon on Saturday. Alabama fell one spot to SEC rival LUS while Boise State moved up to No. 4 after their own impressive victory over Georgia. Florida State rounded out the top five.

Texas A&M benefitted from Oregon's fall out of the top 10 by moving up a spot to No. 7. TCU fell from 14 all the way down to No. 25 and both Baylor (No. 20) and Texas (No. 24) jumped into the Top 25 this week. The complete poll is below the jump...
