Elston Turner scored a game high 23 points to lead the Texas A&M Aggies past the Oklahoma St. Cowboys 76-61. After a back and forth first half Texas A&M went on a 16-1 run in the second half to secure the victory. Being ahead by 13 points after that run, Oklahoma State was not able to get any closer than 10 points the rest of the way.
Texas A&M was able to win this game down a pair of players in Khris Middleton who is the teams second-leading scorer and point guard Dash Harris.
Oklahoma State could not shoot the ball well at all in the second half and attempted to stay in the game with their three-point shooting, however Oklahoma State was four of 21 overall and made only one of 11. Overall Oklahoma State shot only 38 percent from the field in the loss.
The win for Texas A&M put their record at 12-8 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
