The No. 6 LSU Tigers currently sit in third place in the SEC West standings, while Texas A&M comes in just behind at fourth in their first season in the Southeastern Conference.
The Tigers are coming off a big 23-21 win over former No. 3 South Carolina, yet a 14-6 loss to Florida on Oct. 6 has them slotted behind Mississippi State in the SEC standings. The Bulldogs are 3-0 in conference play this season and are currently No. 15 in the AP Top 25.
Texas A&M, 2-1 in conference play, lost their first-ever SEC game in a 20-17 defeat on the road against Florida. The Aggies have steadily moved up the overall rankings, winning a shootout against Louisiana Tech 59-57 on Saturday.
LSU and Texas A&M face off on Saturday, Oct. 20 with kickoff slated for 11 a.m. CT with coverage on ESPN.
