Two Top 25-ranked SEC teams will take to the field for their first-ever conference matchup when the LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies kickoff at 12 p.m. ET this Saturday on ESPN. The Tigers are favored by three on the road against the Aggies.
With a record of 5-1, Texas A&M debuted at 18 in the BCS poll and is also ranked 20th in the AP Poll.
The Tigers are coming off a a 23-21 win over then No. 3 South Carolina in which they held the Gamecocks to just 34 yards rushing and 211 yards of total offense. The LSU defense is allowing 14 points a game, which ranks eighth in the country.
Texas A&M is scoring 47 points a game, which ranks fifth in the country.
LSU debuted at No. 6 in the nation in the BCS poll and climbed back up to sixth in the AP Poll. LSU originally dropped in the poll after falling to Florida, 14-6, on Oct. 6.
Both LSU and Texas A&M trail 3-0 Alabama in the SEC West standings.
