2012 SEC Football Standings: Texas A&M third, LSU fourth in SEC West

LSU drops to fourth place in the SEC West, following their 14-6 loss to the Florida Gators on Saturday.

Les Miles' Louisiana State Tigers fell to fourth place in the SEC West, following their 14-6 loss to the Florida Gators on Saturday.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 5-1 overall on the season, and 1-1 in SEC play.

LSU now trails the Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0), Mississippi St. Bulldogs (2-0), and Texas A&M Aggies (2-1) in the SEC West. The Tigers will look to get back on track Saturday night, when they play host to the No. 3 South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Aggies, meanwhile, picked up their second SEC win on Saturday, defeating the Ole Miss Rebels, 30-27. Texas A&M will take a break from SEC play, when they take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday.

Texas A&M's next SEC test will come on Saturday, Oct. 20, when they play host to LSU.
