Despite struggles against the underdog Ole Miss Rebels, a 30-27 win for Texas A&M represented a fourth straight victory for the Aggies since losing their opener to Florida. Since that opening game loss, neither team has lost and now both teams are ranked in the latest edition of SB Nation's BlogPoll.
The Aggies managed to jump six spots and snag the No. 24 spot in the rankings, while their only loss doesn't look so bad as the Gators have managed to secure a top five spot after beating LSU on Saturday. In the next two weeks though, Texas A&M can continue its climb through the rankings or quickly exit as they face No. 22 Louisiana Tech and No. 9 LSU in consecutive weeks.
The LSU Tigers and Texas Longhorns were two of the biggest fallers of the week, as each lost five spots in the rankings. Saving each team was the fact that both lost to top 10 ranked teams by close margins.
