Texas A&M upsets Alabama: The SEC media eats crow

Many national and SEC writers predicted Texas A&M would fail in the SEC. Those predictions look foolish now, after the Aggies scored an upset over the No. 1 Crimson Tide.

There were many members of the national and the SEC media who expected the Texas A&M Aggies to fail this season. Most of those media members are looking foolish after the Aggies' 29-24 upset on the road over the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Author cuppy cup of Good Bull Hunting compiled this list of predictions before the A&M upset over Alabama. If the predictions looked bad before the game, they look downright ludicrous right now.

Pat Forde, Gregg Doyel, and Pete Thamel, among other national writers, disliked the move to the SEC by the Aggies. They all expected A&M to struggle in the conference and regret the move. Other members of the media didn't like the fact that A&M chose to leave a rivalry against the Texas Longhorns, labeling the move short-sighted.

There is also a long list of tweets in the article that now look incredibly dated and completely incorrect. If you're a Texas A&M fan still relishing in the victory, reading the story should be cathartic after so many people expected the Aggies to fail.
