NCAA Football Rankings, Week 12: Texas A&M moves into top 10 after Alabama upset

Texas A&M moves to No. 9 in the AP Poll after their upset of Alabama.

The new Week 12 AP Poll is out, and as expected, the Texas A&M Aggies have catapulted into the top 10. The Aggies pulled off the season's biggest upset on Saturday, shaking up the top of the poll and dethroning Nick Saban's Alabama team. The Crimson Tide fell to No. 4 while the Aggies moved up to No. 9 -- ahead of one-loss Florida State and Clemson teams.

Texas A&M is one of five SEC teams in the top nine of the poll, but now all of them have marks in the loss column. Oregon, Kansas State, and Notre Dame are the new top three, and the lone remaining undefeated and bowl-elgibile teams in the FBS.

The Aggies now host Sam Houston State next week before wrapping their regular season up against Missouri.
