Following an impressive victory over the previously undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide, Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies jumped to No. 10 overall in the latest SB Nation BlogPoll rankings.
The 8-2 Aggies check in a full six spots behind the same Alabama team they knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten, and are the highest-ranked two-loss team in America and just one spot behind an undefeated Ohio State team. Texas A&M is also one of six schools from the SEC represented in the poll, as all six are ranked among the top 12 teams in college football.
Mack Brown's Texas Longhorns also moved up two spots to No. 18 in this week's rankings, using a thorough 33-7 win over Iowa State to snatch their fourth consecutive victory. The Longhorns still have to face TCU this Thursday before closing out their regular season with No. 2 Kansas State on the road, and are on the verge of being eliminated from the conference title picture if the Wildcats pick up another win this weekend.
