College Football Schedule 2012: Aggies face Sam Houston State after big win

The Aggies will face FCS Sam Houston State this weekend after springing the upset on Alabama. Here's the full SEC schedule, along with other local games of note.

After pulling off maybe the biggest upset of the 2012 season, the Texas A&M Aggies will face Sam Houston State on Saturday afternoon in College Station. The Aggies went into Tuscaloosa and defeated Alabama 29-24 last Saturday, which shook up the national championship picture significantly. This normally would be time for A&M to guard against a letdown, but the Bearkats don't pose much of a threat.

Elsewhere in the SEC, many of the teams are facing a lightweight before their traditional season-ending rivalry games. Missouri probably has the toughest out of conference game, as they host Syracuse. There are only three conference games this week, including LSU's rivalry game against Ole Miss. The Tigers have won two straight over the Rebels, and eight of the last ten.

The Houston Cougars face the Marshall Thundering Herd on the road at 11 a.m. CT. The Cougars need to win their final two games to become bowl eligible.

The Texas Longhorns have the weekend off.

Here's the rest of the SEC schedule for Week 12:

Western Carolina Catamounts vs. Alabama Crimson Tide, 11:21 a.m. CT

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Mississippi St. Bulldogs, 11:21 a.m. CT

Wofford Terriers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks, 12 p.m. CT

Jacksonville St. Gamecocks vs. Florida Gators, 12 p.m. CT

Georgia Southern Eagles vs. Georgia Bulldogs, 12:30 p.m. CT

Alabama A&M Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers, 1 p.m. CT

Sam Houston St. Bearkats vs. Texas A&M Aggies, 2:30 p.m. CT

Mississippi Rebels vs. LSU Tigers, 2:30 p.m. CT

Syracuse Orange vs. Missouri Tigers, 6 p.m. CT

Tennessee Volunteers vs. Vanderbilt Commodores, 6 p.m. CT

Samford Bulldogs vs. Kentucky Wildcats, 6:30 p.m. CT
