Texas A&M will face FCS school Sam Houston State on Saturday, one week after the Aggies knocked off perennial powerhouse Alabama.

The No. 8 Texas A&M Aggies host the Sam Houston State Bearkats on Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

The Aggies are coming off an exhilarating 29-24 victory over the previously top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Quarterback Johnny Manziel emerged as a Heisman candidate after accounting for 345 total yards and two touchdowns. The Aggies are eight points from being undefeated this season.

Still, A&M shouldn't take Sam Houston State too lightly. The Bearkats are 8-2 this season, and have destroyed nearly every team in their path, with their only losses coming to FBS Baylor and 8-2 Central Arkansas. In the game against Baylor, the Bearkats actually held a double-digit lead at halftime before faltering in the second half.

The Aggies enter the game with heavy hearts, as wide receiver Thomas Johnson has been reported as missing. Johnson is a key cog in A&M's offense, catching 30 passes for 339 yards and a touchdown in 2012.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN GamePlan

Point spread: Texas A&M will obviously be favored, but by how much is not known as the line has yet to be released.
