Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State score update: Aggies dominate first half against Bulldogs

The 16th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies lead the No. 15 Mississippi St. Bulldogs, 24-0, at the half of their SEC contest in Starkville, Miss.

The Aggies used three separate drives of 73, 79 and 87 yards to build their early lead behind a dominant running game, coupled with an efficient passing game.

Aggies' quarterback Johnny Manziel has 10 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown as well as 164 yards passing on 18-of-22 passing. Christine Michael and Ben Malena each have a rushing touchdown as the Aggies have combined for 223 yards rushing in the first half.

The Aggies' defense has limited the Bulldogs to just 87 total yards. The Bulldogs came into the game averaging 33 points per game and only giving up 17.4. The Aggies have completely flipped the script on the Bulldogs as their crowd is in shock at the away team's early dominance.

The Aggies enter the game with a record of 6-2 overall, 3-2 in the SEC. The Bulldogs are 7-1, 3-1 in the SEC.
