The Big 12 conference announced their award recipients for 2012. Several names from the region popped up on the lists of honorees.

Redshirt junior guard Elston Turner and senior forward David Loubeau of the Texas A&M Aggies missed out on making one of the All-Big 12 teams, but were both named as Honorable Mentions for their strong seasons.

Texas Longhorns guard J'Covan Brown was named to the All-Big 12 First Team. Myck Kabongo of the Longhorns also received an Honorable Mention.

This year's awards were dominated by Kansas and Missouri Players, although the surprising Iowa St. Cyclones received a fair share of the honors as well.

You can find the full list of award recipients at the official Big 12 website.
