The WNBA held its draft on Monday, and a pair of former Texas A&M Aggies have found new homes.

Tyra White, a senior guard from Kansas City, MO, was taken with the fourth pick of the second round (16th overall) by the Los Angeles Sparks.

She was the leading scorer on Texas A&M's 2010-2011 NCAA Tournament winning team, and was named to the All Final Four team that season. White led the Aggies in scoring once again as a senior, finishing with a 13.1 points per game mark in her last year as a collegiate.

Meanwhile, Smith's backcourt mate Sydney Carter went to Chicago with the third pick of the third round (27th overall). Carter was named to the 2011-2012 All Big 12 Defensive Team and 2011-2012 All Big 12 Second Team. She was the most outstanding player in the Dallas regional during the Aggies' march to their National Championship.
