Texas A&M Reveals New Adidas Uniforms

The Texas A&M Aggies have teamed up with Adidas to have a new TECHFIT uniform heading into the 2012 season. There are no drastic changes in this new uniform, but there jerseys are similar to those from 1970s, which featured vertical stripes down the shoulder and continue down through the pants.

Adidas director of football for Adidas America Mark Daniels talks about the uniform:

"We wanted to create a special look that honors the state of Texas and celebrates the new era of Texas A&M football," said Daniels. "Our team pulled design cues from past Aggie uniforms to highlight the school's rich football history and created an updated school logo to celebrate the future of A&M football as they represent the Lone Star state in the SEC."

They do a good job of sticking with Texas A&M's traditional look, and here is a gallery of images of the new uniforms.

The uniform also will give the Texas A&M players advantages over other uniforms as the jersey weighs 30 percent less then others, stretch fit technology was implemented to help players have maximum range of motion with reduced friction an finally the jersey will keep the players cooler with moisture management fabric.

Here is a video of the new look uniforms:
