The Texas A&M Aggies are getting ready for their big move to the SEC. They've already gone and made the expected welcome video, of course. Now they're looking forward to a whole to set of opponents to get to know and gig. A&M head basketball coach Billy Kennedy had some comments regarding the move to the new conference.
Andy Katz at ESPN collected some thoughts from head coaches around the country that are overseeing teams moving to new conferences this fall. Kennedy had this to say about the move to the SEC:
"The toughest challenge is getting our fans to understand how tough the league is in basketball. The SEC is an underrated basketball conference. I felt like we have been in the conference for a long time -- great to know it's official."
Aggies fans can't wait to get the season started. It's clear that A&M feels the same way. They're looking to turn some heads and show the country they have a viable basketball program
