Texas A&M and running back Will Randolph have parted ways, as ESPN's Sam Khan Jr. reported via Twitter on Friday. According to the report, this was a mutual decision for Randolph to leave the program. There was nothing immediately available as to why this decision was made, or what Randolph's future plans may be.

With the Aggies making the adjustment to the Southeastern Conference this season, there's certainly going to be some changes made. Could this decision have anything to do with A&M bringing in Oklahoma transfer running back Brandon Smith, who applied for a waiver to be eligible in 2012?
Smith played in just one game as a freshman last season, in which he ran for 37 yards on 10 carries in a 61-7 blowout victory against Kansas.
