The Texas A&M Aggies welcome the South Carolina State Bulldogs to College Station on Saturday as they seek their second victory of the season.
The Aggies (1-1 overall) are coming off a decisive 48-3 win on the road over Southern Methodist on Sept. 15. Quarterback Johnny Manziel set a freshman school-record with 294 yards passing as the offense tallied over 600 total yards on the afternoon. Manziel also threw four touchdowns in the blowout.
As for the Bulldogs, SB Nation's Texas A&M blog Good Bull Hunting foresees plenty of learning opportunities for the Aggies on Saturday in their look at South Carolina State, provided they are focused:
On paper, this should be a great tune-up before the Arkansas Razorbacks come to town next week. Starters and their backups should get significant reps on tape to critique during the following week of practice.
South Carolina State, a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, is 1-2 overall this season. They lost 56-0 on the road to the No. 24 Arizona Wildcats on Sept. 15.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT at Kyle Field, and can be seen on ESPN GamePlan or ESPN3.
