The LSU Tigers and Texas Longhorns are projected to meet in the Cotton Bowl.

With college football's regular season winding down, analysts throughout the Internet are doing their best to project each and every bowl game. CBS Sports' Jerry Palm is no different, and posted his latest bowl projections.

Per Palm's projections, the Texas Longhorns and LSU Tigers are slated to meet in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 4. Each year, the Cotton Bowl pits the No. 2 Big 12 team (barring two BCS bids) against an SEC team. LSU is one of the top SEC schools, and has a fanbase that would travel well to Dallas to play in perhaps the most prestigious non-BCS game.

Palm projects Texas A&M to take on the Clemson Tigers in the Chick-fil-A bowl, which pits the No. 2 ACC team against the No. 5 SEC team.

Baylor and Minnesota are projected to meet in the Meineke Car Care Bowl, which is held in Houston. The Meineke Car Care Bowl features the No. 6 Big 12 team and the No. 6 Big 10 team.
