The 2012 McDonald's All-American game, which features the top high school basketball players in the country, is set to tip off on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. CT.

Local talent will be on display for Houston residents, as center Cameron Ridley will be suiting up for the West team. Ridley, a 6'10", 260 lb center from Fort Bend, has committed to the Texas Longhorns. Ridley had also been weighing offers from Arizona, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas A&M, but he ultimately decided to join Mack Brown's team for the 2012-13 season.

Ridley is verbally committed to Texas, though he has yet to sign an national letter of intent.

Two other players from the great state of Texas will be suiting up in the 2012 McDonald's game: Isaiah Austin of Grace Prep in Arlington, and Marcus Smart, from Flower Mound. Austin, a 7'0" center, has committed to Baylor, while Smart, a shooting guard, has committed to Oklahoma State.

Televised coverage can be found on ESPN.
